Ok Folks, another question, do all CC sites have a set standard Amperage trip limit ? or is it down to the system on the site in question?

As I have said, we have only just come back to Caravaning after some 25+ years so have a lot to learn given the changes that have taken place. The Coachman we have bought is like a Palace compared to our old Lunar Clubman.

Looking forward to Friday and our first outing to Fairlight Wood.

Ian.

As far as I know all club sites have 16 amp hook ups. You,ll enjoy Fairlight Wood it's a lovely site we were there a couple of months ago and loved it.

P.S tv is poor so you may need a 25 metre coax cable to plug in to the booster on the ehu bollard

I think that all cc sites now have a 16amp trip  per pitch on the bollards, that does not mean that 16amps will be available at times of heavy usage on sites ,as it depends on what load is available to use through out the site

Some affiliated sites may have 10 amps however.

Ian, there's a note on Pg 651 of the Site Directory that says:-

"Most Club Sites have a pitch allocation of 16 amps, but always check in case a lower limit applies."

You should get 16 amps on a club site but check with the wardens if you have any doubts.

Sites i use are 10amp or 16amp, not a problem using either.

First thing wife asks is what's the limit so she can monitor the current on the Owl 160 we use.

To check the amperage just look at the CB look for a 10 or 16, ignore the rest.
