Pitch Fees During School Holidays

Why are the CC  pitches more expensive during kids holiday periods. I know the theory is bump up the price on all holiday types. But  we are members of a club, then why are prices not kept the same all year. These increases also affect both single and twosomes,
as well as family caravaners.
