Houghton Mill

We have just returned from a lovely week at Houghton Mill.  We love the site and go once or twice a year.  The wardens confirmed that the National Trust will be taking over the management of the site next year as they want an 'integrated site' with the mill
and the tea room, whatever that means (probably a new manager with a buzzword!). It will remain as a caravan site but of course we will have to book through The National Trust in future which in my experience is not always straightforward.  It remains to be
seen whether it will be run as efficiently as it has been under the CC.
