Site close to Liverpool?

Any suggestions for a quiet dog friendly site near to Liverpool please. I'll be making frequent visits to St Paul's eye hospital so need hard standing as it will be through winter months too. Never been to Liverpool before so would be grateful for any local
knowledge.
