motor mover

I have just bought a a twin axle caravan with a reich motor mover on it but I cant get it to work I have bin told it mite need re setting  it has two boxes under one of the seats with a black wire coming out of one witch will plug into the outher i think
this will link the two together when resetting? does anybody Know how to reset them.
