Hi - We are looking at the Coachman Vision 270 (2016) which has 2 end lounges. We have 2 growing boys and wonder if this is a good layout for a family of 4. I am worried about a lack of dinette (which we have now) and a lack of staorage. Does anyone have
this layout and can advise??

 Many thanks

I would have though that it would be a good layout. How old are your two boys? We had similar seperation when my daughters were 3 and 9 aand they appreciated their own space on occasion. Is this the layout? Not sure how much clothes storage there is though. This image is the 570 I could not see a 270

We had a very similar layout. The major restriction we found was the limited size of the washroom but it did give everyone their own space.

We had a twin lounge caravan when our boys were 6 and 8, until they were, 9 and 11. I think it was the best van for us at that time. If you have 2 lounges do you not have a table at both ends, we did, which is why we liked it so much, it meant the boys could
be at one end playing games while I cooked and set up for meals.

Easy enough to use a small folding freestanding table and yes we liked that aspect Tammy

When we had three girls we had this layout on two caravans for about fifteen years and found it worked well for us. The rear lounge did have a table with bothof them so they had their own space. When two had stopped coming with us we got a caravan with a
single lounge at the rear although it did have a bunk over. This also worked well for us but that layout is no longer available as far as I know.

The main downside is the smaller than ideal toilet compartment if you need showers but then again you will probably then use the site ones. It might also be a problem where the children are mixed sexes.

Hi Everyone - many thanks. Yes its the 570 we are looking at (the 270 was a typo!) Our boys are 7 & 10 and the 10 year old is getting a bit big for the bunks we have at the moment (we have a Sprite major 6 which has 3 bunks so its restrictive for them) so
the double lounge combi will give them bigger beds and give the van more longevity for us I think. The small washroom of the 570 doesn't bother me as we generally use the site showers but storage may be an issue.  I'll have a look at the new Sprites though
as I didn't realise they had this layout. Thanks again!

At that age I'd have thought they might prefer to be in a pup tent outside on a night ...Sticking Tongue Out
