Bessacarr gl550 jerking

Hi All

We have recently purchased a Bessacarr cameo gl550 twin axle, when towing with our BMW E53 x5 3.0 d manual we get a very bad jerking sensation as if the brakes are being applied on the caravan. We have had it in to our local dealer and had the brakes checked
and set and the hitch head damper replaced, it is better but still does it on uneaven surfaces. wonder if any one has any ideas.
