I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem as we are experiencing with our heating system. We are getting quite an acrid smell from the system. It does not seem to be there when the heat is initially blowing but it starts to smell when temperature is reached and the system is at rest. The book does say this can occur on new systems but at nearly two years old I would have thought it would be better now. OK the van is not used all the time with several weeks passing between outings but I would have though it should stop after a short while. Any ideas/solutions? Should add that it happens on both gas and electric but slightly less on gas, perhaps because exhaust is pumped out the rear of the van with more force.
