Aerial mast fitting withour screwing to caravan?

I wish to attach my aerial on a mast to the side of my caravan without screwing a clamp to the caravan, as I am worried that this could cause water to enter the caravan & cause damp damage. I purchased 2 universal clamp which came with adhesive pads, but they came lose from the caravan.

Is there a way of fitting clamps or brackets to the caravan without the need to screw them to the caravan?I was thinking of somehow fitting something into the awning rail to clamp to the aerial mast?

Any suggestions, please
