Security guards on CC sites

Have just returned from visiting freinds at Clumber park CC site. I am wondering if there has been some trouble there. Otherwise why employ security guards. Has anyone seen them on other CC sites? It was very busy with a lot of visitors I did not get a chance
to ask the warden.
