2011 chrysler grand voyager as tow car?

hi , i  currently tow my sprite major 6 caravan with a 2007 chrysler grand voyager,which is ok ,but struggles a bit with it only being a four speed auto box. I am thinking of upgrading to a 2011 new shape voyager with a 2.8 td engine ,with a six speed auto
box.

I would welcome any feed back or advice on a new shape voyager as a tow car
