Water softeners

Would the instillation of water softeners in shower blocks  on CC Sites in hard water areas be worth considering? Have just spent a w/e in the Lake District at Coniston and the shower block was sparkling with no lime around showers, taps & toilets plus the
convenience of washing in softened water. At home we live in the Anglian Water Area, a notoriously hard water area, and have a water softener with all the benefits, which we feel pays for itself. Far be it from me to suggest more expense for the CC but does
anyone else have a view? The SP taps would obviously remain unsoftened.
