Sites with hardly any roads or slow ones around

We have an autistic son 8 who does not have any road sense or any sense of danger. It has been very tricky in the past.

So, would love some suggestions of safe sites to stay.

He does sometimes abscond but would like to relax a bit otherwise holidays can be a nightmare and we end up going home.
