Services on the A1

I am travelling down  to Peterborough starting in Kelso in the Scottish Borders in mid April and then back up again a week later and joining and  leaving the A1 at Morpeth. On our previous two trips down that way we have been unable to find suitable services
for stopping with the caravan  Does anybody have any ideas, particularly from Weatherby to Newcastle?.  Thanks
