Welcome Geoff and Eileen. We went from a tourer to a static caravan at the Lake District and back to a tourer. The static was great when the kids were small but we far prefer the tourer. We had holidays all over England and some super holidays as a family
in France an are now enjoying the freedom just the 2 of us. And we've had some brilliant views.

Thanks to you all for the welcome. Have actually owned  a two berth 5 years ago, only trip was a month down in Spain. Not bad for my first trip. Looking at the East Coast for the first trip with the van, just to get used to it. Poss Europe next year when
we sort out a dog passport..

Last year I was widowed in the most traumatic circumstances.   It is now phase 2 of my life and I am launching it with my very first campervan, a Duetto for two, myself and my little Cavachon.  I am really excited and already addicted after one long weekend
at a music festival.  I want to venture into Europe next month and want to find others to go with. Cool

Klikkit, have you looked at the Solo Caravanning section further down the page under the Centres, Rallies etc sub-heading. It might be useful.

    Good luck in your venture.
