Cadac Connection

Having just invested my hard earned in a Cadac I want to run it from the plug in facility fitted to the front offside of my Louisiana. Ideally I want to site the Cadac on the rear near side of the van. What prevents me from making the connection with a long
hose even though Cadac advise a hose no longer than 1.5m. Any advice welcome.
