Sites near Warwick Castle

We're hoping to take our caravan and two kids (12 & 10 years) somewhere near the castle at the end of August, but the only site with availability is the Warwick Racecourse, and I've been put off by some of the negative reviews. has anyone stayed somewhere
within a 45 minute drive of the castle that has at least got a toilet block?.... Any ideas welcome.... Our youngest who celebrates his 11th birthday that weekend really wants to go the castle and I foolishly thought how hard can it be to find something.........
