collapsable items

i have seen lots of adverts for these items ,buckets ,kettles etc ,do they last and are they worth the extra money??

    We have a collapsable bowl and bucket ,the bowl doubles as a  dish drainer when collapsed  the bucket is great to rinse van/car and tates up about a third of the space of a normal type ,

    Got ours from Lidl

    Think I got about 3/4 years use out of a colapsible canvas bucket before it started leaking. There maybe differences in quality between makes because I have had another one about 3 years and there is no sign of any leaks yet.

    We have a collander that doubles up as a fruit bowl, also a measuring jug and a kettle. The kettle can be used on different heat sources, so, as we have an electric hot plate on our hob we no longer carry an electric low wattage kettle. We also have a canvas
    bucket that has given us nearly 20 years of service. We did buy another one but that only lasted about a year, absolute rubbish.

    Love my pink gorilla bucket from Asda

    not collapsible but squashable.
