I've seen gazebos on CC site awning pitches so, presumably, there's no objection to using a gazebo on a 'standard with awning' pitch.    Happy

Ive seen gazebos used on club sites.  if there is room on the pitch and the proper spacings between units are OK there should be no problem.

One thing to remember, if the wind increases to gale force, you might find your gazebo has taken up residence on the other side of the site, damaging a few vans and cars in the process.

I wouldn't use one if it was  windy as I wouldn't sit outside ,have looked at the kids ones they are bit smaller but could be big enough just for me to sit under ,it is just something to give me and dogs bit of shade if it's hot

I did see some in Lidl last week. Not sure of the size or if they are still there but might be worth a look if you have one close to you.

I see Aldi have got this year the side panels for the gazebo they had last year.  Makes it a tad more suited to the British climate.

    Why is it chavish?

    Definition of chav

a young lower-class person typified by brash and loutish behaviour and the wearing of (real or imitation) designer clothes.

Those outside the caravan world could well see caravans as a whole as "chavish" despite the cost of them.  I prefer not to label and treat as a I find.

It's been year's since we used a gazebo on site - I reckon about 25 years!  We used to use them in the south of France when the kids were really small.  They were useful to keep the kids out of direct sunlight and it was a useful home to the blow up paddling
pool.  I don't think I've ever used one in the UK and certainly never on a Club site.  You have to be really careful - the wind can take them.
