Radio/CD players poor reception
I have a Lunar Quasar 462 which came with a radio/cd player built in. The radio (Radiomobile) worked fine initially but last year it proved almost impossible to tune into radio stations unless parked under the transmitter!! I have chacked the aerial and
it looks pretty messy internally. I am therefore thinking of fitting a new aerial but have hit the problem of getting the radio out of its housing to enable me to detach the existing aerial. I have asked Lunar if they have any spare removal tools and they
referred me to the dealer who in turn has stated they do not have them.
2 questions.
1. Has anyone else replaced the aerial and if so what alternative make did you use.
2. How did you get the tools to remove the radio or did you use an alternative method to do this?
Here's hoping one of the many techy's out there can help me.
