Club sites close to larger towns/cities

Hi ALL

  can anybody recommended a good site within 4hrs drive of Durham, that is withing walking distance of a larger town/city, other than Rowntree park at york.

Not bothered which direction from durham.

I am looking for a weeks break 28/7/12.
