What MotorHome to buy

With so many layouts and Vechicle makes how do you go about deciding what one to buy ?, I know my budget and it would have to have a fixed bed ,but other than that  I am flexible about everything else ( I think)

i know that a M/H is a compromise in layout usage etc ,but what do motorhomers compromise most on ,if you do !!

This not a dig about M/H's ,but practical advise on buying, and happy to hear any opinions
