Having spent 2 weeks this July in the south of France with our free standing air conditioning unit belching out nearly as much heat as it was cooling we have decided to explore roof mounted options. Advice from club members on type and how you get round weight issues with an MTPLM of 1600 will be gratefully received! We are even considering removing the microwave to sacrifice its weight (10.5kg)!
