After much deliberation I have just winterised the van -- Everything drained down, all bedding, towels and clothes removed and upholstery up-ended to allow a free flow of air. 

..We have enjoyed all our caravan holidays this year and have been away in total for over 3 months. 

The mornings are now frosty and the darkness is falling around 18.30, soon to be worse when the clocks change. 

We will stick to cottage holidays over the winter, just came back from a wonderful cottage holiday in Mull.

Looking forward to the Caravan season starting next year.
