Beautiful natural Scenery

As caravanners we were discussing areas of outstanding natural beauty in the UK and while Scotland and Wales were spoken about in glowing terms the conversation moved to discussing which area in England contained the best natural and beautiful scenery. The opinions
varied but after a while a concensus was reached and the Lake District came out tops for it's varied and outstanding natural beauty. Have any other members had similar discussions and if so what were your findings ?.
