I bought a Silverscreens exterior thermal cover last year. http://www.silverscreens.co.uk for my Peugeot Boxer cab. I collected it myself from Cleckheaton. The staff were very helpful, even showing me how to fit it to the cab. It works really well. Although
not the cheapest on the market, it is well made and fits the cab perfectly.

do you have any internal blinds/screens already....?

i ask as you will need some blackout blinds even when the weather is warm... so, internal screens might do for al, seasons...

however, for thermal efficiency, i would say a good external set would be best.

The rear and side windows have thermal blackout pull down blinds ,but it's wether it's worth paying the extra for the external one as we plan to use all year round.......

We are very pleased with our Taylormade external screen. We ordered the longer version to cover the bonnet vents which save water getting in. The front of the screen can be pulled down to allow more light into the van.

We have the long length Taylormade external screens too. If you want to exclude all cold draughts, order the bonnet cover as well.

Husky, we have used Silverscreens external screens for the last four years. We use them all year round and find them excellent. We did try the internal stick on (sucker type) screens originally but these created a lot of condensation which was a pain, when we changed to external screens, the difference was very noticeable with no condensation and improved insulation. Cool in summer and warm in winter. one of our "must have" better buys, would recommend them, either silver screen or Taylor made, I must say that I had a better buying experience with Silverscreen who seemed more interested in getting me the right screen, Taylor made didn't bother to reply to my phone message....their loss. As I said that was years ago and they may have improved their phone back system since....Cool

P.S..Don't buy cheaper ones as they don't fit properly and fall to bits very early on in life, as a couple of our friends have found out. Buy cheap, buy twiceYell..Cool

It  most  certainly  is  Huskypup  !!

I've  used  Silver  Screens  &  Taylormade  ( Both  are  Reg  Trade  Names  )  for  different  vehicles  in  the  past.  Now  I've  got  Silver  Screens  with  the  longer  length  over  the  bonnet  &  the  removable / foldable  centre  section.

Certainly  I  would  not  be  without  one  or  tother  Cool

Silverscreen or Taylormade without a doubt.  You will see how effective they are when you walk around a site on a cold night and see the vans without them have the windscreen running with condensation.  We use Silverscreen and never have any condensation.

Just  one  little  point,  Huskypup.  Taylormade  can  be  found at  shows  occasionally  but  Silver  Screens  are  contactable  only  by  the  wonders  of  technology !

I'm  pretty  sure  {  but  not  absolutely  so }  that  I've  got  that  the  right  way  round  !!  Either  way  it  does  not  affect  the  quality  of  the  kit  !!

Is it not the other way round? Taylormade have a comprehensive website and products can be ordered online where as Silverscreens I think you have to phone them. At least that was the situation I remember three years ago but it could have changed.

Husky, go for the external blinds for your front screen. Worth their weight in gold. Marvellous for keeping cold out, warmth in, and no condensation whatever. Taylormade or Silver Screens are the brands to go for. Both companies are not easy to contact,
either via email or telephone, but persevere. We needed an older type, specific to our MH, so had a bit of difficulty as Taylormade couldn't make any up for us, too busy with orders for newer MHs, but Silverscreen had what we needed in stock. Don't give up
via the contact as I sayHappy

TDA, thanks, I've had a look at their website and I've decided to go for a " silverscreen" with the extra bit that goes down the bonnet ...........

You'll  get  a  couple  of  "Hedge Hogs"  { their  term  }  magnets  in  velcro  backed  pouches,  to  hold  the  screen  down  on  the  doors.  Also  two  straps  with  hooks  on  to  do  the  same  for  the  extension  over  the  bonnet  so  it'll  look
as  tho'  the  S/Screen  is  wearing  SuspendersSurprised  but  I've  replaced  these  with  three  Magnets  in  Pouches,  of  my  own
manufacture  which  can  be  used  on  their  own,  or  in  conjunction  with  the  straps  if  you  like  that  sort  of  thing
    Innocent !

I ordered a Taylormade screen on-line.  A few days later they phoned me and said that the delivery price quoted on-line was incorrect but could not tell me how much it would be - except that it would be a lot more.  I cancelled the order and reported them
to Trading standards for giving misleading information.

I re-ordered from Silverscreens.  No problem, delivery as promised and great product.
