More Open All Year Sites Please!

With the steady increase in the provision of 'Hardstandings' or gravel all weather pitches, I often wonder why more sites are not open all year round. Those that are seem very well supported when we visit them, but some areas such sites are very thin on
the ground. We live in S.Wales whilst one of our daughters and family live in Southampton and after October we have to rely on commercial sites to stay nearby after Rookesbury Park closes. (Winchester is also close by but is totally grass so obviously not
good in wet/ snowy weather so it's closure for the winter is sensible.)
