solar panels 4 watt

We have bailey pegasus gt65 verona 2014 it has solar panel socket in battery box rated 6 amp we require to run 4 watt briefcase solar panel to trickle charge battery while in storage by putting in window of van. Van has two 6amp 12volt sockets the same as
one in battery box. Does anyone know if we can connect solar panel to either of the sockets in the van. Thanks
