Motorhome Gas

Being new to long term traveling in Europe, its always been a couple of weeks max in the past, I am worried about the Gas and not being able to renew. The dealer is saying the only option is to go for the refilling installation and handed me a quote for
£700 on top of the £40000+ the motorhome is costing. Are they right?
