Am currently staying on a club site and have been looking for a non-emergency doctors appointment. two issues have arisen as a result of this. Firstly, the nearest Doctors number is not given on the site information sheet had to get out of bed first thing
and walk to the information hut to find it. Secondly, on hearing that I'm a visitor the local doctor was unable to help, infact rang three local surgeries before giving up and heading to NHS direct for help. I'm fine, this is not a major issue health wise
for me but do think the doctors number should be on the site information sheet as standard and wondering of anyone else has had a similar experience and have not been able to get to see a Doctor because of not being registered. Should club sites perhaps have
some sort of informal arrangement with their local doctors' surgery?
