Why are the sites opening so late this year.

While planning a holiday for this month, I was surprised to read that sites which opened for the season last year on the 22nd of march are delaying their opening till the 28th this year. Surely the club are losing revenue by adopting this approach. As well
as shortening the already too short caravanning season. ------------- K
