Swift caravans wheel spats
Hi All .
I am disappointed with the swift company, I have a Europa 550 it is 4.5 years old , i have taken great care of it , this last week end i "lost" a wheel spat . I had no collision or incident - at the services it was there when we arrived on site it wasn't
there . OK sort when i get home . On the way home i noticed the other spat flapping , so stopped and removed it in one peice ( fortunately ) . Swift were very helpful and gave me the part number i required but would not supply it to me .
Local dealers quoted me (all sit down now as the shock will cause major heart fluctuations) £150+ for a PVC Moulding, I dare not ask how much to fit???? . Dealers add a percentage mark up ( i had 3 quotes All the same ) therefore i blame Swift for this outrageous
cost .
The wheel spats were only fitted with copious amounts of silicon - not a secure fixing in sight , surely this is a manufacture /build issue ?. Note we also took out a extra warranty - for a further 2 yrs - another rip off as it doesn't cover body part falling
off??????
Anybody know how to fix the spats so they will not fall off
