Seasonal Pitches

Why don't the CC allow hard standings when booking a seasonal pitch. The grass standings become very muddy in wet weather which has been the norm for the last couple of years. This limits the availablility of the pitch making the cost per visit quite expensive
and depending on the frequency of attendance more expensive than had we not booked a seasonal pitch and booked when required. I work full time so I am limited to only using the seasonal pitch at week-end and holidays but it does save the hassle of hooking
up the Van.  Also there is a limited number of CC sites that allocate seasonal pitches and they are not the most popular sites. It would be interesting to know the thoughts of the CC in deciding their seasonal pitch policies.
