3D TV

Looking at replacing my TV, seen one with added 3D for only another £30 ,and we have Sky HD so 3D is free and our blue-ray player supports 3D

My question is ....Is 3D worth it or is it just a gimic???

Yes i know there is not much 3d content at the moment but it will come.....looking a head!!!!!
