Has anyone managed to get an update on SCI

SCI or "seasonal canine illness" is reported to be spreading in Linconshire, East Anglia and Suffolk. Has any member heard any updates regarding the spread of this serious disease, or if the authorities know definitely what is causing it. Planning next year's
holiday tours but no way will I be cruel and expose my dog to any kind of illness by holidaying in the affected areas.  Thank you in anticipation.
