Why all the excitement !!!!

On a number of CC sites there is and advert saying " Chip Van on a whatever night". 

When it does arrive there are generally huge queues of caravanners buying the overpriced stuff. 

Last year we bought Fish and Chips when the van arrived on a Northern England site just to see how good they were.--- Never Again !!!!

I'm afraid their fish and chips were not up to standard.  ---. The fish was overcooked ( good immitation of cardboard) and the chips were undercooked. 

It would seem that as they have a captive market on campsites, they can serve up any old rubbish. 

I will always give the "on site" mobile chippies  a huge bodyswerve in the future.
