We have toured extensively on the Scottish islands and can certainly recommend the Outer Hebrides. Absolutely wonderful scenery, laid back lifestyle, wildlife in abundance, the machar is outstandingly beautiful in season , glorious beaches, absolutely friendly,
helpful and considerate people. Loads of passing places on the roads. We visited 8 islands last spring and 3 islands the year before.
