Caravan-induced change of car

As we hadn't done our research before buying our caravan, towing the Hymer Nova with the BMW 318D Touring never felt completely comfortable. It was powerful enough but you could always tell the 'van was there - none of this tows like a dream business that
some of you report. At typical, real world weights it was an 84% match but on paper it was much worse.

Anyway I've just traded it in for an Audi A6 Avant Quattro 3.0TDI automatic (2006). It feels like such a grown-up's car but I'm hoping it will feel a lot better and smoother when towing.
