If anyone is interested

Fontagary Caravan Park has built touring pitches and and an amenities block near the entrance .

All are hard stand (laid out a bit regimental ).

It's an all singing  all dancing park with the all wales coast path running through it .

Pub just outside of entrance .

And around a 20 -30 minute walk to to east Aberthaw

Home of the blue anchor a 13th century thatched pub restaurant (many many real ales).

And same distance in opposite direction to rhoose railway station taking you into Cardiff 1 way and Bridgend the other.

Not stayed there yet but looks ok

I pass it very regularly as I am a train driver

Opens up 1st march I think.

Thanks for this information.  Looked at the website. A dummy booking for 4 nights at the beginning of June for one person with a dog gave a price of £120.  £30 a night.  It is a "super pitch" including WiFi.

Write your comments here.. Oh Dear.

We are going to try it at some point this year .

We are from Cardiff buy live down west wales now

So I know the area very well but campsites are very thin on the ground in the Vale of Glamorgan no cl's either .

    Not sure of the c&cc.

Only cl I would recommend is on outskirts of Cardiff

South Lodge . Excellent views and very well laid out
