    http://www.thefiammacentre.co.uk/fiamma-carry-bike-pro-autotrail.html

found the above on the Fiamma site, made for the Autotrail....but now discontinued??

may still be able to get from stock at a dealer somewhere or even ebay etc 2nd hand......

what's the specific objection to the towball option? they look very sturdy and secure......but more expensive....incl towbar itself.

If you do a google search you will find suppliers who appear to have this in stock. I just found two straight away on the top page of a google search by copying the exact words:

    "Fiamma Carry Bike Pro Autotrail".

I looked into this issue when I was choosing a new van recently. An Autotrail was on my final short list of two but a bike rack was an essential for me. I learned that it was possible to fit one and because I was on the look out I saw quite a few on the road. But the drawback for me personally is that it is quite high up thus I reckoned (although I freely admit I have not put it to the test) it would require quite an effort to lift the bike on and off of the runner. This is especially because I am not that tall (5'8"). If you are not going to be bothered by that it shouldn't be a problem.

In the end I didn't go with the Autotrail but that was mainly because of other factors; however, the bike rack issue was a small part of the decision.

Hi can i ask why you didnt go for the autotrail, we are on our first motorhone went for a   eldddis autoquest 115(brand new)had many issues to many to list not sure if our bad luck or just bad quality  all round. So looking at up grading next year  . Would
like  a bigger  bathroom  but still only about 6.0 meters long. Really enjoying  the motorhoneing experince, but problems have made it all a bit stressful.
