Swift Challenger 490/5 1990 problems pls help
Hi there,
we just recently bought a swift challenger 490/5 se 1990 which is in very good condition.
dry and comfortable.
when we bought the van, the last owners struggled to get the elctric working, which wasn't a problem as I could help and we figured it out.
now on the day the toilet worked and the waterpump too.
we went away last weekend and guess what,
the waterpump didn't make any sound and didn't do anything it should, also the toilett flush didn't work either.
i could not find out why, I changed fuses i tryd 12v and 240v just about anything and both didn't work at all.
we bought the van to upgrade from our previous van which was a 1980 to have running water, water Heather and tetford cassette toilet.
seems we back to the standart of our old one as all the upgrades are not working at all.
funds are not allowing to bring it to a dealer and make there holidays, sorry, so I try fixing all this myself but it seems hopeless without knowing which wire is doing what and where all the hiding fuses are.
anybody can help on this problem please?
