Plastic covers to hide screws

Does anyone else have trouble with those confounded plastic covers for screws, every caravan l have had they all fallout at sometime or other. My Clubman SB sky light ones keep falling out  due to splitting with contraction and expansion, well thats my theory. Have any of you come up with anything to stop it happening. l would rather the manufactures colour code the screws but thats a no no due to cost

Stick them in with clear silicone.

They won't fall out again. Easy to remove if required and refit after wiping iff the old silicone.

remove them and get some self adhesive wood effect screw covers.

Google them, plenty of places supply them.

The ones that CY suggested are the ones that Lunar used on my Delta, and they split and are also large/ugly.
