About 18 months ago the 'Battery Low' warning light showed on the dashboard on my 18 months old, (at that time), Mondeo. It went out after a short time, after the car had been started up again and with no problem. The car had had a long run the previous
day so I thought it a bit strange that the battery was low. The car went in for a service a few days later and I got the garage to check it. They couldn't find anything wrong and said it was possibly just a 'computer glitch'.

Since that time the light has come on probably about half a dozen times but with no problem in starting etc on any occasion. It seems to happen a few times in fairly close succession and then nothing for a few months. However, on this last time the warning
showed I checked the voltage myself and it was 12.32v and, again, no starting problem. The input voltage with the engine running is 14.79v.

Has anyone else with a Mondeo experienced a similar problem?
