VW PHAETON 3.0l 4x4 Diesel as tow car?

Hi i have put a deposit down on one of these, a 2007, on paper should be a good tow car, i currently have an x type and have went for a 4x4 after being stuck in the mud a few times..... Does anyone have experience of these cars as tow vehicles? Does anyone
have any experience of air suspension and towing? This car has it, self levelling with different settings and im a bit paranoid about it. Think its the same as the tourags, the vw garage said it was. Does this air suspension cope whilst towing? Any feed back
