Satellite TV Help Needed

Never ever had anything to do with satellite TV either at home or in the caravan, I need a bit of help. It might be a very simply answered question but please excuse my ignorance.
With our new caravan we received an Avtex TV with DVB-S2 satellite decoder built in. Do I need anything more than a satellite dish (with tripod etc) to be able to use the facility?
