Hi, I'm new to the forum, my name is Dee and I've been caravanning for just over a year with my husband Jamie and dog Crumpet. Our van is a bailey ranger 500/5 (about 1999) its MIRO is 954kg and MTPLM is 1230kg. Our towcar is a citroen c5 hdi vtr 2l diesel
with a kerb weight of 1486kg. Normally with just the 3 of us this combination works great! But next week we'll be going from norfolk to anglesey with my parents on board aswell! I just wanted some advice on whether this is safe or if we need to take 2 cars.
We are all average weight and height and will have 2 small dogs in the car aswell and a full awning laying on the floor of the van. Any tips would be appreciated!
