How about this brilliant bit of caravan design that can actually potentially affect a great many of us. I couldn't believe what I was being told.

I've just had to put in a warranty claim on my 2 week old caravan as the return spring in the door window blind is either broken or isn't there at all. Fairly straightforward job one might imagine. Yes it is, but it doesn't involve a new spring as such.
No, to rectify the fault requires a new door !! Even the dealer couldn't believe it but according to Lunar that is what is needed.

I may be wrong but I thought most doors were made by Hartal and fitted to the vast majority of caravans so potentially, a similar problem with your caravan could result in a new door.

Which clever pill**k came up with a design like this? It would be so easy to make a door with the inner window bezel removable, either clipped in or held with a series of decorative screws.

I also have a warranty claim for a faulty microwave. The problem here is that no-ne seems to know how to get the faulty microwave out of its housing in the caravan. There don't appear to be any obvious or hidden screws or fixings which are accessible from
within the caravan. Another good design !

It's no wonder caravans are so expensive for what they are.
