If you happen to be putting one of these awnings up on your own I find it helps to put one of the outside poles up first and keep it upright and in place by fixing the storm strap inplace and peg the strap inplace, that will then keep that part of the frame
upright, then do the same with the other outside frame poles, the awning is then upright and standing firm and you can start fitting the middle frame poles with ease.
