Need recommendations for Lake District Site

Hi,

I am planning a couple of weeks in the Lake District but am finding choosing a site a bit of a minefield. I really just want a site overlooking a lake and am trawling through reviews and site descriptions - not really finding any answers. Does anyone have
any recommendations from actual visits. I am planning on being based at Lake Windermere. 

Any help would be really appreciated.
