I'm really hoping someone can help me out there! I have a 2005 Sterling Europa fitted with a Truma Ultrastore water heater. I have put up with the tank losing water and having to re-bleed the system each morning for long enough! I started to read various
posts on all sorts of forums and came to the conclusion that the NRV (non return valve) was faulty. I removed the valve and put water in it - sure enough the water drained back through the valve where it shouldn't. I bought a new one from my local spares shop
and fitted it yesterday afternoon, excitedly, i went to the van this morning to see if i had instant water instead of 2 minutes of fresh air and was highly dissapointed! There are no leaks under the van, nothing is coming out of the drain pipe. I have removed
the barrel and pump and the water is flowing back through the inlet where the pump fits and making a green mess on the awning skirt rail. Looking at the pipes in the van, i really don't see what else this could be other than the NRV - do you think my new one
may be faulty? Any help or advice before i end up either putting up with it or paying a pro would be greatly appreciated.
